PDX.rb (the Portland Rubyists) is having a special event tomorrow night 
(Wednesday, Aug 3) @6:30PM at FreeGeek.  We will have the following talks:

    *  Jim Weirich (Rake creator): Jim will talk about either Domain 
Specific Languages or Dependency Injection.
    * David Heinemeier Hansson (Ruby on Rails creator): David will give a 
Rails Keynote.
    * Why The Lucky Stiff (Of "Why's Poignant Guide to Ruby" fame): Music.

Yukihiro Matsumoto (aka Matz) the creator of Ruby will also be our special 
guest visiting all the way from Japan.
