This is an early announcement for the September MWVLUG meeting:

How to make dual network feeds create reliable connections.
	Conrad Shultz

	Date: 9/6/2005
	Time: 6:30pm
Location: PEAK Internet - Western and 15th , Corvallis Oregon

An oft-overlooked feature of Linux is the ability to utilize
multiple "upstream" internet connections simultaneously. With
a little code-writing and head-scratching it can be made to
detect dead gateways, automatically rewrite routing tables,
and even update DNS entries. At the meeting we will discuss
what can (and cannot) be accomplished without assistance from
ISPs, consider strategies for maximizing network uptime (for
various definitions of "uptime"), and review home-brewed
routing and monitoring scripts used at a local small business.
If you have ever wanted to gain freedom from ISP outages
without having to break the bank then this session is for you.

PS, this is how to do it with DSL and cable, not with
	BGP and T1 connections.
