OSCON is this week - July 23-27, 2007 at the Oregon Convention Center.
See http://conferences.oreillynet.com/os2007/ for details.
Altho the conference costs significant dollars, everyone can get into
the community meetings, and the BOFs, and the vender exhibits on
Wednesday and Thursday. This also includes OSCAMP (http://oscamp.org)
which also runs on Wednesday and Thursday.

PLUG will have a booth at OSCON on Wednesday and Thursday.
John Jason Jordan <johnxj at comcast.net> has produced a great
flyer for PLUG and will be at the booth on Wednesday to get
things started, but...

We definitely need help running the booth.
We don't expect John to spend all of his time at the booth.
So, email John and volunteer to help for a couple hours.
or drop by the booth and volunteer.

AND AS AN ADDED BONUS!!
Art Mann and Silicon Mechanics (http://www.siliconmechanics.com)
got us one conference pass which is good for all the pay sessions on
Wednesday and Thursday.
We are going to share this pass.
We will keep a sign up list for the pass at the PLUG booth (#424).
Sign up on a first come, first serve basis.
You can only sign up for one session at a time and please volunteer to
spend some time working at the PLUG booth if you use the pass.
Also, be prompt about getting the pass back to the PLUG booth as
soon as your session is over, so the next person can get to their
session on time.
On the other hand, please take advantage of this opportunity and use
the pass. It is absolutely great of Silicon Mechanics to do this for us.
