TITLE: Test Engineer for Networking/VoIP (Beaverton, OR)

WANTED: Engineer to test and improve our network products.

Work in a small remote R&D office with an engineering team
to produce the next generation Converged Access products
(network devices that include firewall, VPN, router, VoIP,
wireless, and traffic management/QoS).  This job pays to
try and break our products, and use strong forensic skills
to isolate and help document/resolve the bugs.

To qualify you must have the skills to administer your own
test network: switches, routers, clients (Linux & Windows).
You should have basic understanding of network principles
(ethernet, IP) and some experience with network test tools
such as smartbits, iperf, tcpreplay, tcpdump, nmap, etc.
Experience with VoIP (H323, SIP, RTP) is strongly desired.
Scripting (shell, perl, etc) and background with testing
and automation is also desired.

Top candidates will work well with others to address bugs
and focus team efforts on important issues.  They will be
good at spoken/written communications (tests plans & bug 
writeups), self motivated, and creative problem solvers 
that generate ideas to improve product and help the team.

Education/Experience
- BS or 4yrs+ relevant experience is strongly encouraged.
- QA, NETADMIN, Sustaining backgrounds are all welcome.
