Wind River has several new Linux Products team openings. We are are
looking for experienced general Linux engineers, people who enjoy and
have experience integrating packages into distributions, fiddling with
kernels, finding and applying patches, extending patches, working both
with open source community and in a product development team.
Familiarity with embedded architectures and cross-development (i386,
x86_64, ppc, ppc64, mips, arm/xscale) is a plus. Networking
protocols/packages or security experience is also a plus. We prefer
folks willing to work in Alameda, CA; Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; or
Beaverton, OR -- but there's flexibility in this and home offices may be
considered.

If you think you may be a good match, send your cover letter and resume
to me (james.perkins at windriver.com), and I can forward it on to the
hiring manager or HR. Feel free to forward this posting to others
that may be interested.

For more general information on the sorts of jobs Wind River is hiring
