472061 -- Senior Linux* Systems Engineer
In this position, you will be responsible for systems engineering, 
monitoring, maintaining, upgrading, testing, troubleshooting and 
recycling of UNIX* and Linux* compute servers in a distributed computing 
environment. Your responsibilities will also include but not be limited to:
- Addressing technically difficult UNIX* and/or Linux* hardware and 
software issues in a large installation
- Developing and testing processes to improve and/or modify operation of 
thousands of systems
- Providing third level support for customer purchased systems
- Installing, integrating drivers and testing operating systems and/or 
supported enterprise applications
- Troubleshooting for errors, performing recovery steps remotely or on site
- Researching, recommending and/or implementing system enhancements that 
will improve server and/or OS and/or application reliability
- Managing key customer representatives: acting as a primary "liaison" 
between customers and the computing organization, gathering customer 
requirements and executing computing purchase plans for customers.

504193 -- SAN Storage engineer
In this position, your primary responsibility is to manage a medium to 
large Windows* and/or UNIX* Storage Area Network, including RAID 
storage, fiber channel, operating system, volume manager, and cluster 
administration. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Working closely with Windows* and UNIX* client engineers, as well as 
Backup and Recovery engineers in order to properly forecast data storage 
needs for internal customers, and to maintain business continuity
- Managing other UNIX* services (such as Synchronicty*, Linux* OS, 
Network Information Service (NIS), and scripting)
- Providing coverage for other administrators as needed
- Being available on-call in a rotation with other engineers

502625, 504189, and 503356 -- Systems Engineer
The High Performance Computing (HPC) organization was formed to address 
the explosive growth in tapeout computing demand, related to Optical 
Proximity Correction (OPC) in chip layout. In this position, you will be 
providing a critical HPC function ensuring a reliable, secure, 
productive computing environment. Your responsibilities will include but 
not be limited to:
- Responsible for maintaining the health of Linux* compute servers in 
the HPC batch pools
- Monitoring the environment and monitoring fileserver backup operations
- Initiating data archives
- Interacting with external service providers
- Working as part of on-call rotation
