Responsible for developing device drivers, user applications and test
applications for Intel's mobile reference platforms in the Macintosh*
operating system X, BSD*, Linux* and/or UNIX* operating systems and its
flavors. Your responsibilities will also include but not be limited to: 


- Working on BIOS and/or security architecture for reference platforms 
- Responsible for architecture and development, and product quality 
- Responding to customer and/or client requests or events 
- Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgment
and formal software process 

 

Qualifications 

 

You should possess a Master or a Bachelor of Science degree or
equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer
Engineering or related discipline.  Additional qualifications include: 
- Experience in developing software (including device drivers, system
software) for Apple* Macintosh* X operating system 
- Prior experience in C/C++/Objective C, Object Oriented Development,
filesytems, user interface development 
- Excellent PC architecture knowledge 
- A background with operating system internals and PC architecture
knowledge would be an added advantage 
- Debugging and development experience with kernel debuggers 
- A self starter 
- Strong problem solving skills 
- Works well in a team environment and individually 
- Experience working on open source projects would be an added advantage

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
- Prior experience with BIOS or firmware development would be most
advantageous
