JOB DESCRIPTION:

Configure and manage Veritas and AIX SAN Disks on hosts according to
customer specifications.  

Diagnose and resolve OS related problems. Manage tape backups, user
accounts, and print queues. 

Respond readily to host related incidents.

 

AIX

 Shell scripting, account and volume management, general system
administration duties

 5+ years

   

Linux

 Shell scripting, account and volume management, general system
administration duties

 1+ years

 

SAN

 Has worked with Brocade fiber switches, SAN zoning, HBAs

 3+ years

   

Disk Arrays

 Experience with enterprise disk arrays, Shark and Hitachi preferred

 3+ years

 

DESIRED SKILLS:

   

Backups

 Experience with enterprise backup software, Unix-based NetBackup
preferred

   2+ years (desired only)

 

DYNIX

 Shell scripting, account and volume management, general system
administration duties

   1+ years (desired only)
