This person owns a specialty car rental business and wants a private page on his website that will allow customers to log in and reserve a car/limousine. They would select a car from one field and dates from another. The page would tell the customer whether or not the car is available. Once booked, the customer cannot un-book and would have to call in to cancel. I assume he would want an admin login that give him some extra abilities, such as cancellation. Well, that's basically what he said. Now, off hand I can think of a couple better ways to do this without straying too far from what he wants (like selecting dates first then seeing what cars were available). He's just not a tech guy. He's a business owner that needs some help. His budget is around $500, but I think this might be flexible if one could demonstrate a better idea and why in "laymen" terms. He's only tried to work with one other person so far at a local computer shop and given up because they simply lack the ability to speak in any dialect other than thick nerdish. Please email be with your name and number. I will give you a call back and ask a couple of questions so I can pass good candidates on to him. Other than that I won't be involved in this. -- - m0gely From greenskyx at gmail.com Wed Oct 24 20:34:26 2007 From: greenskyx at gmail.com (Cory B) Date: Wed, 24 Oct 2007 13:34:26 -0700 Subject: [PLUG-JOBS] Full time staff positions Message-ID: <523ba6b0710241334i6b7c13d3o6fde80eb4ec238d@mail.gmail.com> The University of Portland has two full time staff positions open that require Linux experience.
