Overview

 

Plan, install, integrate, configure and provide developer support for
the IBM Master Data Management infrastructure and general data
management environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

50%    Ensure products or technologies are optimally integrated with the
rest of the technological environment.  Manage incident and problem
resolution process for support related issues with help from other
senior technical team members.  Recommend changes to the company's
technological environment as appropriate. As needed: design, code, test
and document scripts.

 

15%    Recommend and implement plans for new products or technologies.
Assist IT and business staff to become successful using these
technologies. Participate in projects as needed.

 

15%    Continually increase the depth and breadth of knowledge and
understanding of the products and/or technology areas.  Participate in
other Information Technology related activities required to support the
company's business.

 

10%    Participate as a mentor within the team accepting critical
feedback and modifying approach as necessary.  Keep current with
Industry trends and best practices as applicable for business needs.
Communicates clearly in writing and verbally with peers, managers, and
customers. 

 

10%    Demonstrate the ability to contribute to, develop, and execute
against a timeline or project plan to facilitate the overall success of
the organization.

REQUIREMENTS

 

Education:  

 

Degree in Information Systems, CS, CE or related field.

 

Experience:  

 

Five to eight years experience in systems development or product
support, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant
experience. 

 

Working knowledge of Operating Systems (UNIX), Databases, Networking,
and Internet Technologies.

 

Experience with IBM MDM (DataStage, Quality Stage etc) desired.

 

Experience in design, coding, testing and documenting UNIX scripts
required.
