Job description
Client is looking for an experienced software security tester with at least 3 + years experience to work on a new graphics card. The position is to look for security vulnerabilities in the new graphics card hence knowledge of x86 graphics and operations on the PCI-e bus is important. The candidate needs to be familiar with:

- security Validation methods, real world application development and/or driver development.
- writing the security strategy and test plans for the Larrabee project.
- identifying potential security gaps and help drive their closure with the software development team and creating test applications to validate these areas.
- experience validating product security, both hardware- and software-related evaluation, using injection and reviewing methods
- experience validating API calls and software interface boundaries
- knowledge of DirectX and/or OpenGL architectures for visual simulation or gaming
- ability to readily comprehend and analyze high-level architectural specifications
- strong problem solving skills
- clearly document issues and drive to resolution

Top three required skills:
(1) Knowledge of C programming;
(2) Knowledge of security practices for vulnerability minimization (stack/heap security methods);
(3) Ability to work with SW developers to work towards more secure and robust code (participation in bug scrubs, security scrubs, representation of issues and their importance)

Requirements
- BS in Computer Science with a good math background
- 3-5 years of experience in application development or validation
- Knowledge of code review support tools like Klokwork
- Knowledge of BSD Unix and the Mach kernel
- Experience developing white box and black box tests to facilitate functional, integration, regression, and performance evaluation
- strong C++ coding and debug skills
