[PLUG-JOBS] Linux Build and System Administration Engineer Contract - Role - 6 months

Daily Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 
- Maintaining a consistent and reliable server environment 
- Troubleshooting issues found with the servers and working with development
engineers to resolve it 
- Maintaining and monitoring all OTC mailing lists
-Assisting web developers in migrating domains, websites, bugzillas, mailing
lists as needed
-Troubleshooting web issues and working with others on the team to resolve
them 
- Continuously exploring best known methods in the industry to increase
productivity
-Documenting processes and procedures

Necessary Skills:
- Linux System Administration experience in a networked environment 
- Bash shell scripting 
- Python* scripting 
- TCP/IP networking 
- Knowledge of Fedora/Ubuntu
- Knowledge of postfix/sendmail; rsync; mailman administration 
- FTP server support and maintenance
- Knowledge of various source control tools: Subversion, Git
Additional Skills Desired:
-Familiarity with managing a software build system
- Ability to troubleshoot/create Python* build scripts
- Familiarity with continuous build processes


Years of Experience & Expertise Level: Three to five years experience with
Linux System Administration
