Our client is looking for a candidate to fill the below listed contract

Our Portland, OR client is looking for a contractor to help work on http
streaming.  

 

- Must have solid C/C++ socket development in Linux/Unix/BSD

- Must have experience with HTTP server/client/cache/proxy (e.g. Apache,
Squid, Varnish, IIS, etc)

- Should have solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP) and system
performance

- Should be familiar with some of the following:
HTML/XML/Perl/PHP/Java/JavaScript

- Experience with HTTP streaming or Video streaming is a big plus
(MPTS/RTP/Flash/etc)

- Must have product development experience (source control, bug tracking,
documentation, etc)

- Can follow direction, track status, take initiative, and resolve issues
with minimal supervision
