[PLUG-JOBS] Sys Admin position - Portland OR

*About You.*

You are a network-/sys-admin type who has 1-3 years of experience and is
looking for an entry-level /junior position. You will be responsible for
maintaining the infrastructure for a small but quickly-growing company.
Tasks will include routine process monitoring, implementing security
measures to safeguard our data, and managing user accounts. Additionally,
you will be required to ensure the integrity, security, and scalability of
our servers. This position reports to the company's DBA. You should have
some minimal code-writing ability to assist the DBA and our developers with
their responsibilities. You are here in the Portland region and would have
the ability to start working for us within the next few weeks.

*Your experience. *

* Experience helping maintain at least one successful web application using
any popular framework such as Rails, Drupal, or Cake.
* Experience with UNIX/Linux systems, Xen and other virtualization /
monitoring tools.
* 1-3 years experience as a UNIX/Linux system administrator (esp. CentOS or
Red Hat)
* Bachelors degree, or equivalent, in relevant field.
* Skilled in any respectable text editor.
* Scripting experience such as Bash, Perl, Ruby, Python, or PHP.
* Experience using Git or other revision control technologies.

We are a small but growing company located in Portland, OR whose main work
consists of cyber-investigation, Internet compliance, and basically finding
and tracking questionable activity on the Internet. We're a young company
but love what we do!

This is a full time in-office entry level/junior position. U.S. citizenship
is required. Compensation is commensurate with experience and background
