This is a full time, 6-month, contract/hourly, on-site Front-End Web
Developer position located in Portland, OR paying $50.00 to $70.00 per hour
depending on experience. Local (within 50-miles) candidates only. US
Citizens or Green Card holders only please. Thank you. 

Our Portland client  is looking for a Front-End Web Developer to work with
our eCommerce business team to enhance the eCommerce user experience.
Candidates must have a passion for developing user-experiences which meet
business expectations and drive business value through KPI's conversion,
AOV, etc.  Projects will include various category micro-sites, a dynamic
store finder, and a home page redesign among other projects.   All
candidates must provide a relevant portfolio and references. 

Main duties and responsibilities: 
-Must be an expert at extracting business vision and requirements and
translating this into deliverables. 
-Develop web applications which align with business objectives, are
compatible with relevant systems, and drive business value. 
-Understand business problems and work with the business team to prototype
solutions, including creation of documentation required to ensure that
solutions defined meet business needs. 
-Implementation of web experiences which are functional with a highly
transactional conversion driven environment including support for high
traffic browsers (as defined). 
-Conduct testing of applications, and work with internal clients to test,
fix, and retest issues. 
-Conduct training for technical business team so applications can be managed
post deployment. 
-Work with business and technical teams to deploy and validate applications
in the production environment and support applications post-launch. 

Requirements: 
-Advanced skills working with front end technologies including, but not
limited to, the following technologies - JavaScript, jQuery, Google Maps
API, HTML, HTML5, CSS 
-Must be a team player with a desire to both learn from and teach your
peers. 
-Ability to work with a diverse team in an achievement driven environment. 
-Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.  
-Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
