Sr Software Test Developer
Sr. Test Developer (4-5 years of experience)

He/She will be part of a team developing validation components for distributed computing involving audio, video, imaging and cloud technologies.

The candidate will be responsible for developing test tools and validating the software components.

He/she should be experienced in development and implementation of test automation and tools for validating various interfaces across each of the components.

You will also be responsible for developing and executing the tests that validate the product specifications, document the test results and interact with the developers to ensure a quality product.

Responsibilities also include analyzing HW/SW requirements, identifying potential problems early in the product life cycle and ensure product quality issues are resolved in a timely fashion.

A BS/CS with 4/5 years as a software engineer and prior experience in testing multimedia and imaging products along with programming experience in C++/C# are minimum requirements.

Proficiency in developing scripts, developing test harnesses, automated test suites, .NET, communication protocols, multimedia, Cloud services, Load testing experience, programming in Java and Perl is a plus.   Linux, Windows, Android OS experience.

The candidate will need to have an understanding of load testing of the servers.

Experience in testing Android and IOS applications with the ability to isolate problem areas is a plus. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure is a plus.

The successful candidate will have a keen understanding of the software engineering and quality assurance process, possess good communication skills, be self-motivated, self-directed and a good team player.
