Hi All,

Open-Mesh is seeking to hire 2 Wiireless Network Support Engineeers.

For more information on the job =>
https://www.open-mesh.com/skin/frontend/rwd/default/media/Network%20Support%20Engineer.pdf

For more information on the company => http://www.open-mesh.com/

If you don't already know, Open-Mesh dervies its firmware from the OpenWRT
source code and also gives back to the open-soure prjoject. The sofware
engineer who developed the BATMAN wireless routing protcol works for
Open-Mesh.

What I'm willing to go on public record for abbout the job and company.

Decent pay.

Good benefits including free annual tri-met pass, open vacation policy,
flexible hours, work from home.

A pretty great groupd of folks to work with in the Portland office.

One of the best Managers I've ever worked for.

You get to choose your laptop computer and run your OS of choice as all our
Apps are
Internet/Cloud based.I have a Lenovo Thinkpad running Debian Linux! =)

The company has no BoD or Stockholders to answer to.

The company is engineering driven, not sales/marketing driven.

We just hired a product development manager with previous wireless industry
experience at Motorola. He's implementing agile development and has made a
lot of ood changes in a short time.

We're in the process of hiring a VP of Sales who comes from a networking
equipment company.

I've been working at Open-Mesh as a Wireless Network Engineer for the past
4 months. I have a farily extensive background as a Network Engineer and a
few years of basic Linux System Administration. Although I studied Comp.
Sci. once upon a time in which seems like a prievious life, I don't
currently do any coding, but if you do that's great and welcomed!

I'm happy to answer any other question you may have. I'm also happy to hand
deliver your resume or just email it and put in the cover letter that found
out about the posting via the the PLUG Jobs mailing list.

Sincere Regards,

Mike
