Cinder is looking for an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to lead one of our teams onsite at a client location in Hillsboro, OR. This is a full time, 40 hour a week position. We offer all full time employees a full competitive benefits package that includes PTO and Healthcare coverage.
Required skills:

  *   9+ years of experience with OpenSuse, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian
  *   Experience with Virtualization (VMWare, KVM/QEMU, XEN)
  *   B.S or M.S in Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering or equivalent on the job experience
Experience with 8 or more of the following:

  *   Administering production Linux servers, serving multiple users
  *   Ability to build Linux software packages from source when needed
  *   Git, Apache, nginx, postfix, OpenSSH server software
  *   At least two scripting languages (Python, Shell, Ruby, Perl,etc.)
  *   Server-class PC hardware (HP, Dell, etc.)
  *   Major package management systems: APT, Yum, Zypper
  *   Remote-console software (VNC)
  *   LVM, the Linux Volume Manager
  *   Networking protocols: ipv4, ipv6, http/https, tcp/ip, ssh, smtp, ldap
  *   Web server security and applications
  *   Git source code control & Gerrit source code review
  *   Nagios system monitoring software
  *   rsync and EMC Avamar
  *   Continuous integration software (Jenkins, TeamCity, ect.)
  *   JIRA for project and issue management
