According to confirmed reports, the actual figures for people coming to
this country from ALL sources is one every 29 seconds. Compare this to
births (one every 8 seconds) and deaths (one every 13 seconds).
So, more people are born in this country than immigrate. Birth to death
ratio is about 1:1.5, so just in that way, we are growing.
But getting back to immigrants. At the rate of one every 29 seconds, that's
(math involved here) 1.06 million per year.
I repeat "THAT'S FROM ALL SOURCES."
That includes Mexico. So, assuming that more than 60,000 folks immigrate
from places other than Mexico, that's leaves us with LESS THAN A MILLION
from Mexico each year.
Gee, the problem is getting smaller and smaller.
