Do you dispute that people lived on lands that Europeans came and claimed as their own?
Do you dispute that Europeans forcably moved many native peoples from point A to point B, so that those same Europeans could occupy the land formerly occupied by said native peoples?
Wether they claim it as their own property or not, they were using it. That in itself makes it theirs. Just because a bunch of Europeans came in and used a loophole in their beliefs does not make it right.
And yes, I do say that it was stealing. Exactly as if I steal land from you. Only in this case, individuals stole land from whole populations of people, animals, and various other living things.
