Yes there can.

However, they can't mutually exclude each other.

My point being that language is not exact. The way your question was worded left a loophole, which I exploited. There are a lot of loopholes in the Constitution.

I would further posit that if there appears to be two mutually exclusive truths, then the truths are not defined sufficiently.
