You're wrong.  The Constitution WAS WRITTEN in english.  The Constitution
of the United States of America is available in nearly every language
spoken on Earth... and several that aren't.

We have a citizenship because one group of immigrants and their
descendents decided that they wanted to make their immigration mean more
than it really does.  They created scarcity (in Naturalization) where
there was none before to increase the perceived value.  It was an act of
greed.

We have citizenship because one group of immigrants and their descendents
decided they wanted to keep this land to which they'd come for
themselves.  They made it harder for people to come and stay and easier to
deport people.  It was an act of selfishness.
