You're both wrong and dumb.
The Declaration of Independence doesn't say anything about white people or
land-owning and was written by Thomas Jefferson who supported the rights
of all people personally, though most of his political compatriots did
not. We're talking about a man whose mistress was black and whose slaves
were treated with to the exact same standards as the white members of his
household, though the law practically required them to remain property.
Second, the Civil War did not solve the problem of the exclusively male
electorate. That came more than fifty years later with the Sufferage Act
which required very little spilled blood for such a major cultural
revolution.
