Well, seeing that your MUA is the one that added the first set of
quotation indices above (the > characters closest to the text of mine that
you quoted), then it seems that your MUA also did NOT reformat the text.

I don't know what kind of "problem" you expected, but you didn't show that
it reformatted the text to the width of your display, ignoring my
linefeeds.

Sure, your MUA displayed the message.  Fine.  Everybody's MUA should do
that much.  But there's no evidence of magic reformatting.

What's the MUA?  I'll view the message and post screenshots.
