[PLUG-TALK] It's Not Just Washingon State

   Here's an article in today's Washington Post (the right coast Washington,
that is) about a $22 billion automated grant application system that requires
applicants to use only Microsoft software. The article mentions only Mac
users, but I know from the LyX and LaTeX mail lists there are a lot of linux
and *BSD users in academia, too. To top it off, that appears to be an
obscenely high price tag for the system.
