Aaron,

   A few suggestions. First, check the newspaper and on-line want ads.
Second, touch base with some of the temp agencies in town. Third -- and most
important -- translate your list of experiences into skills an employer
would want. You could always work evenings as a Mall-Wart greeter, or a
fast-food restaurant counter person, but I suspect that's neither what you
want nor a way to get your debt down.

   I get calls now and then (most often near the end of the college year)
from folks looking for work. Not only don't they know how to go about
seeking work and presenting themselves on the telephone, but they have no
clue what we do or why we might want to consider hiring them (which we won't
in any case).

   In a tight job market you need to create value for a potential employer
and be able to explain why s/he should want to hire you. Figure out what you
want, what you offer, and why you should be hired. Then go looking.
