[PLUG-TALK] .avi conversion

Some jerk sent me an .avi file that is somehow encoded so that when I
open it the only thing I see is "Use Windows Media Player" for a few
seconds, then it quits.

I tried VLC, MPlayer, Totem, and RealPlayer all with the same
results. I tried converting it with ffmpeg, but the resulting file just
contains the initial message.

This is the second time someone has done this to me. I don't know how
they managed to create the file, but it must have been deliberate.
Therefore it pisses me off.
