To increase coverage in your house you may also consider a femtocell (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Femtocell). These devices create a small scale
cell phone base station in your home and route calls over a broadband
Internet connection. Sprint and Verizon have these devices available today,
AT&T will be offering a device soon, and no word on availability from
T-Mobile USA. The current fee structures won't save you any money on your
cell phone bill but the devices will increase coverage in your home.
