Larry,

   Software is not an issue. I can point bru at any block device and it will
write to it (and read it back when necessary).

   First, I won't put any of my data on an external server. Second, I have
37G (uncompressed) which apparently will no longer compress to < 60G since
bru asked for a second tape this morning.

   I see that ENU has some huge drives for very moderate prices; I need to
learn if SATA (or SATA2) will work in a USB external enclosure.
