> Ooh. Prejudice. Ugly, that.

One man's prejudice is to another man just a difference of opinion.

Prejudice by definition is an unjustifiable negative characterization
of a person, group, or thing. If Democrats tend to charge that I
am prejudiced when I disagree with them on the issues, then I have
not made a prejudiced statement by pointing that out. I'm not
saying that all Democrats scream prejudice nor am I saying that
all Democrats are liberals, but those in control of the Democratic
party right now are liberals. I made a justifiable statement
because there is strong evidence to back it up that will most likely
increase if and when people respond to this. Making an observation
about behavior, even an ugly one, is not an act of prejudice. A
prejudiced statement is, "I hate liberal Democrats." Another one
is, "Friends don't let Friends vote Republican." Never mind that
probably every single person on here who will comment that likes Obama
will probably say that Bush is a criminal even though he has never been
convicted of committing a crime during his time in office.

It is not justifiable to call Bush a criminal, but people still do it.
If we are going to talk about prejudice, there should be a clear line
between what is a negative opinion about a person, place, or thing and
what is truly a prejudiced opinion. True prejudice can never be backed
up by facts or observations. Obama's opinion that it is the country's
interest to prosecute as many former Bush administration officials as
possible is a fantastic example of political prejudice. It is a waste
of the nation's money to prosecute former Bush administration officials
and it increases the political divide between the two major parties
which actually hurts the country in the long run. Obama did not really
win in 2008, many conservatives simply didn't vote. There is a crisis
in a democratic republic when a significant percentage of registered
voters don't vote. In many ways, there should be a revote to get more
people voting and if Obama still wins, at least he'll have a mandate as
much as I detest his policies. I very much doubt that Obama could win
today with independents moving away from him. Too bad people didn't
wake up to who Obama really is until after the election. It's a shame
that Obama is pushing us into a second great depression with his unwise
secretary of energy promoting battery electric vehicles instead of fuel
cell cars and all his hugely expensive bail outs.

We are not serious enough about renewable energy and hydrogen to
achieve energy independence and until we achieve energy independence,
the economy will remain in trouble. The latter mind you is an opinion
backed up by observations, not a manifestation of prejudice.

If by stating opinions others don't agree with I am somehow fanning
flames, then maybe there needs to be a fire! Maybe this list needs
to burn until it is consumed, people settle down, and a reasonable
constructive discussion again becomes possible. Jesus Christ set
the world on fire, he was a very controversial figure. You don't
get executed by the state for not rocking the boat. Christ didn't
come to merely relieve suffering and reduce controversy, He came to
save the world. If I have to set a fire under people to get them to
wake up, then so be it.

While I'm at it, I might as well say where my stands are that people
will probably disagree with me on:

1) Obama is an abomanation promoting abortion and worse than that
sterilization of the American people on a massive scale through
the drinking water. He is no better than Hitler.

2) Marriage is between a biological man and a biological woman.

3) The solution to the OIL crisis is hydrogen fuel cell cars using
compressed hydrogen gas today and something else in the not too
    distant future.

4) Clean coal should be the only kind of coal allowed and existing
coal plants that can be retrofitted to sequester the carbon should
    be.

5) America needs more nuclear plants and more nuclear waste
    repositories.

6) You can't spend your way out of a recession, especially when you
don't spend the people's money correctly.

7) The Pelosi, Obama, etcetera monopoly on political power is not
    good for the country.

8) It is not a crime to shoot an intruder in your own home despite
    what Obama thinks.

9) Afghanistan is turning into a second Vietnam. The nation is too
corrupt for a small force of American troops to depend on the
    locals.

10) We can do more to stop terrorism by trusting God and standing up
to Islamic and other extremists at home than we can by fighting
a war in the far east. Sorry folks, but I think our problems
are here at home more than abroad.

11) Marijuana is NOT a drug that people should be experimenting with.
Even if the Marijuana doesn't harm you, chances are high that
you'll experiment with harder drugs that definitely will. The
people promoting Marijuana at Portland State should be run out
    of town.

12) Obama health care is socialism where socialism can't work.
How do you know who is rich and who is poor? Taxing the rich who
already support most social services to the point that they leave
the country is not a good idea. Where is the incentive to make
money if the government redistributes the wealth? How efficient
can a national bueracracy be? If Obama can't get the money he
needs from the rich, will he squeeze the middle class?
