I assume that practically every single Democrat who comments on
plug-talk in response to me will behave the way I have specified and
your statement supports that. I am not prejudiced against blacks, I
said nothing about blacks, nothing about whites, nothing about Latinos,
nothing about the Chinese... Democrats are not an ethnic group, they
are a political group. I suppose you missed my statement that
slandering Republicans by saying Democrats shouldn't allow them to vote
Republican is prejudice. Insofar as the Democratic party is immoral and
Obama is the prime example of that immorality, I have a problem with the
moral standing of the Democratic party. I have a problem with Obama
appointing someone to health and human services who openly says that he
wants to sterilize the American people through the drinking water. I
have no problem with blacks that respect human life at all stages of
development. I have no problem with blacks who lack the desire to
vote for Obama, who look beyond his skin color and see his flawed and
immoral policies and motives. I hope people wake up and throw Obama
out. Frankly, it doesn't matter if the replacement is Black, Chinese,
Japanese, White, Latino, Russian, Irish, Male, or Female, etcetera as
long as the person is morally grounded and economically sensible.
This nation needs someone who trusts God that respects human life
who will bring this country out of the recession. We need someone
who will focus on reducing our dependency on people who don't like
us by building up our infrastructure. We need someone who will get
us out of combat and give our military a chance to recover. Sending
a small group of American troops into the mountains of Afghanistan
is a fight we cannot win. Iraq was a better front for our military
and it shows.
I should point out that one of my closest friends is blacker than
Obama. It isn't that Obama is black, that isn't the problem, it's
what comes out of his mouth and what he does that is.
Calling people prejudiced won't make them any less or any more so.
It is a divisive statement. My objections to Obama have nothing
to do with the color of his skin and everything to do with his
character. My objections to Obama are justifiable. If you don't
distinguish between negative opinions of a person and prejudice,
then no meaningful criticism can come to your attention. I could
assume you have a negative opinion of the former president Bush
and call you prejudiced for that, but what good would it do?
Maybe I'd be right calling you prejudiced, but it probably won't
gain me anything let alone change you.
I never said that EVERY Democrat is the same. I'm sure there are
a large number of conservative Democrats who speak out very little.
I'd like to see the conservative side of the Democratic party exert
more influence and bring the party's policies and motives more in
line with what is reasonable. Fighting in Afghanistan where we can't
trust the locals with a force that is too small is Vietnam all over
again. Maybe it's time for the troops to come home. We can't kill
the Taliban and Al-Queada if we don't know who these people are and
we can't find them all. Our efforts to hunt them down may be boosting
their numbers which in turn will only keep us on the hunt that much
longer with a military that is already showing signs of fatigue. Bush
was wise to pursue a victory in Iraq over a defeat in Afghanistan.
History will be kind to Bush if Afghanistan is another Vietnam.
