John,
I'm a surface water hydrologist, but you need a geohydrologist. The latter
is an expert in groundwater movements. I know quite a few in Nevada, but
will need to do a bit of research for you to find someone local who's
capable and trustworthy. A friend of mine (with whom I've worked on several
projects) is a geological engineer. I'll ask him for recommendations.
