Pete,

The Printer Place on SE Powell does a great job of cleaning and tuning
laser printers. I took my LJ5 to them when a very small piece of paper
became trapped deep in the guts and caused a paper jam error I could not
clear. With magnifying glass and tweezers they found the offending fibers
and removed them. Tuned up the printer while they were at it and all at a
very reasonable cost.

The HP LaserJets are equivalent to the old OkiData dot-matrix printers:
they just keep on running decades after they were built. And they continue
to produce good enough output for business needs.
