That's an odd sort of coincidence. I was working with a consultant at a 
client site and saw him using dmidecode. We then compared my usual cat 
/proc/* with dmidecode output. First time I saw dmidecode, and I liked 
it. The stick in the mud par tof me will probably still use cat /proc 
though...
