Funny how we're all Mac and/or Linux users where I work. There are a few Windows users, mostly in QA where they have to test for compatibility on Windows. My boss has a Mac, and uses Mail as far as I know, same as me. 

I actually see both sides of the argument, and if you have a properly threading email client, having ANY quotes in the reply can get repetitious. 

I like that I can get right to the meat of the reply with a top post. 

If I'm coming to the thread late, I like being able to read the comments in semi chronological order. 

After a while, it really doesn't make any difference to me. I can make sense out of either, with equally low effort.
