That's an expensive proposition.  Especially if the users only experienced
it once and/or can't tell you how to reproduce the problem.  How DID you
wind up resolving the issue with the employees?

Are these phones designed to run on 48V perchance?  It's a common PoE
voltage, and is enough to be felt.

Also, ringing voltage on an analog line is enough to be felt.
