My wife and I use Consumer Cellular, which literally markets
to the AARP age-group. I have a cheap Nokia 2720 flip phone,
with a camera I don't use but otherwise pretty basic (no
memory card slot or USB connect, you get pictures out with
bluetooth). We have a "family" account, she uses about
400 minutes a month, I use about 20 minutes. We can adjust
our plan online by the month if we expect to use a lot more.
Consumer provisions through ATT but manages their customers
themselves. Their national headquarters is in Tualatin.
