I cannot directly answer your question, but I have heard some cautions
about writing to some camera cards from a computer due to non-standard
formats.  The camera may have subsequent troubles with the files.  Because
of this I do not delete from the computer.  I should test this, as it would
be convenient to delete them when I transfer them.
