I don't know about Firefox add-ons, but if your goal is to extract
your e-mail archive from Google (or any other IMAP-enabled service)
and aren't afraid of the command line, there's offlineimap:

  http://offlineimap.org/

It performs a bi-directional synchronization between maildirs on your
local system and the remote IMAP service.
