This, and Google Glass remind me of a novel -- or maybe a series, I 
don't recall at the moment -- that used both of those. One of you 
probably remembers the name of the book(s) or the author. The plot 
revolved around a technology wizard who died, but who left "himself" on 
the Internet, and forced a policeman to help carry out his plans.
