"Barfogenic" is a term common in the head mount display community.
If you move your head, and the display reaching your eyes does not
track your movement within a few milliseconds, you get disoriented
so badly that you are likely to woof your cookies.  Normal 60Hz
video frame rates are NOT good enough for scene-tracking headmounts.

The hotly disputed numerical measurement of this effect is called
"barfogenicity".
