Indeed. A gmail-to-gmail message to Black Cat Plumbing in Portland,
requesting their services, came back with a "bulk mail not allowed"
message, with a helpful link explaining why I should not send spam.
Big is not better, safer, more robust. Usually, big just means
"insensitive to exponentially growing threats to survival". After
a few dozen doublings, a threat gets very good at doubling quickly.
After two or three more quick doublings, a threat grows from noticable
to lethal. Google may not notice their customers are finding superior
alternatives until it is too late to get them back.
