[PLUG-TALK] eBay fraud - and response

Not directly Linux related. About a month ago, I ordered
what claimed to be a USB-controlled circuit board with
four power relays on it. What showed up did not match the
ad (it is not USB), and the seller offered a refund if I
withdrew my complaints,

Instead, I got my money back with eBay buyer protection.
However, they did not withdraw the misleading (fraudulent?)
ads (under 20 aliases for newfrog.com of Shenzen, China).

So, I created another ebay account, "ad_not_true", and posted
my own ad for the board at a much lower price:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=111346941802

I put a full description of the problems with the board and the
transaction. I hope other potential buyers will see it first.

eBay will turn into a worse cesspool if we don't help improve it.
I hope this strategy works.

Keith
