  A niece lives in Oakland, CA, where gasoline proces are higher than here.
They're also higher in northern Nevada.

   True, but it takes no time for distributors and retailers to raise them
when crude oil was _rumored_ to rise. :-)

   But was that what you were paying 7-11 years ago? :-)

   According to portlandgasprices.com, a Fasttrack station in SW Portland is
still selling regular for $2.00/gal. and the Costcos are selling that grade
for $2.06/gal. This has not changed for a week or so. In the
Gresham/Troutdale area prices range from $2.17/gal (Safeway at NE 238th and
Cherry Park Road) to $2.46/gal (76 at 238th and Halsey) or more.
