Yes, when you leave Comcast, the email account goes away. If for some
reason you come back to Comcast within a couple of months, your current
email address may still be available. We thought we were moving, but our
buyers backed out and the house didn't sell after re-listing. We were
off Comcast for most of the summer. But when we signed up again, my old
address was still there. There weren't any messages, of course, but the
name was still available.
Won't you have a similar option for email with CenturyLink?
