[PLUG-TALK] Guess what large business runs linux at the front end, too?

   Checking out at Albertson's this morning (all sale items) and watching the
display screen with the non-sale prices, the checker said it took the
computer 5-6 seconds to recalculate. I commented, "Must be running Windows."
"No," he said, "we run linux."

   How interesting! Since Alberson's bought Safeway not long ago it's likely
that both run their registers and back ends with linux. Wonder what
distribution.
