If "smart" phones make people smarter, what were they
before? And how do they know they are smarter now?
Is that what the devices tell them?

According to my wife's physical therapist colleague,
motor vehicle accidents (MVA) are up 60% in Oregon,
with much higher speeds for the rear-ender accidents.
Not a windfall for the PT, work hours increase much
faster than compensation.

According to AAA, audio "assistance" from phones and
built-in audio nav systems also increase accidents;
very high risk of distraction.

Stay safe, watch the road, and don't drive while
digitally intoxicated!

Keith
