I was really saddened to read that Mad magazine will soon stop monthly
publication. I started buying it when it first came out in 1952 and read it
monthly for several decades. It was when I was in the Army that I learned my
mother decided I no longer needed those old magazines and threw out numbers
1-100 (something) that I had saved. Had she not done that I could have sold
them and made a small fortune.

Great magazine: excellent writing and superb illustrators.
