Tomas,

I assume you've not spent much time traveling in the rural West. Take a trip
to Atlanta, WY, or drive US50, "the loneliest road in America," from Carson
City to Ely, NV. The last time I drove the 100 miles between Ely and Austin
(no towns in between) I saw no cattle or mammalian wildlife and only a few
birds. The speed limit was 70mph; I was doing 90mph and the only vehicle I
saw in that trip was an NDOT truck that passed me doing mre than 100mph.

If you go to the mountains in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Washington,
Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, or New Mexico you'll find long journeys between
spots of civilization. Carry food, water, and self-rescue gear when you go.
If you drive an EV, bring along a sat phone.

There's a lot of country without shopping centers, banks, or cell phone
access. Perhaps dragging a trailer with a spare battery would be in order.
:-)

Stay well,

Rich
