[PLUG] rpm installation help, please

I wasn't going to say it first...  ;)

But to be honest, this is exactly why I also switched to Debian.  Not 
sure if up2date or apt-rpm would solve your problems, however.  You 
might give that a go if you're not willing to change distros.
